Voting and hoping

We advance-voted today in the bright spring sunshine. May the weather and the gardens and all the happy-looking people that we passed be an omen of an overall positive outcome.

I might advance-vote myself tomorrow. Probably at the Elections Canada riding office at the main shopping mall, as it's convenient to travels I'm already planning anyway.

We'd been warned of long lineups, but the little neighbourhood church that housed the polling station was uncrowded. Once we figured out where the accessible entrance was (to accommodate the spouse's walker), we were in and out in a few minutes.

Me too. I'm trying (1) not to obsess and (2) to keep positive thoughts at the surface of my consciousness. Sometimes those two objectives seem mutually exclusive!
