Finally convinced the SO to give Orphan Black another go (serendipity: Space was running a marathon yesterday, and so I was able to capture the whole first season). I think the fact that the PVR crashed on Friday was of help, because it was well and truly dead this time and thus all our saved series and films disappeared forever. I'm not yet hooked on OB, but I am intrigued. We'll see where this goes.
So STID is the first Trek film ever--literally--that I don't care whether I see or not. I've read tons of pro and con reviews, and I still don't care one way or the other. Never thought I would actually type those words.
In other news, the big appointment is tomorrow. Trying not to (1) get my hopes up or (2) despair in advance. Neither one is easy.
