My neighbour told me that today is World UFO Day, and in honour of the occasion she sent me the link to this classic vid. I had forgotten how clever it is. Be sure to watch to the very end of the credits.

Oh wow that's a memory trip. I listened to that song on repeat when I was sixteen and deep in the throws of my David Duchovny obsession. I read Wuthering Heights because of that song!

I know that feeling. Early X-Files will always have a place in my heart even as I can't really rewatch it without getting mad all over again about the later seasons.

That's wonderful! So much for all the naysayers who think popular culture undermines our capacity for serious pursuits. :)

I can't rewatch XF either. The later seasons pretty much wiped out all my love for the show. Maybe I'll get over that some day--but given that we're in 2024 already, probably not.
