This is the very first year that the NDP hasn't offered us a ride--or, indeed, made any kind of contact during the campaign. I was all ready to tell them that we were voting in advance for Wong-Tam and give them a metaphorical pat on the back, but I didn't get the chance.

these are not normal times

I'm now at the point of wondering whether we'll ever see normal times again (at least in my lifetime).
