Of course, my personal favourite is "Rapid Evolution in Romulans and Vulcans: A Literature Review" by vanilla_extract, and not just because it fits in with some of McCoy's hypothesizing about xenobiology in my own fictional universe. But all the articles are very much worth reading, especially if you are among those whose work requires them to slog their way through academic journals as editors, authors, or readers.
