It sure does. Right now I can't think of many comparable spaces downtown that are still standing. The Artful Dodger and the Pilot. O'Grady's in a way, PJ O'Brien's in a way. There must be others (I hope) that I'm just not remembering. But to my mind, McVeigh's is--was--unique and irreplaceable.
