The Handmaid's Tale has been shooting just around the corner from my home for more than a week now. I'd forgotten just how much real estate is occupied by a feature or series shoot (and how much traffic can be jammed because of crane shots, pyrotechnics, and whatnot). Lots of productions are filming in the city at the moment (witness the blasé passersby in the TikTok, who can't be bothered to even glance at the costumed extras on the steps of St. Paul's), including the forthcoming Starfleet Academy series and season 4 of Strange New Worlds.
