Jul. 5th, 2024 07:33 pmI hope wholeheartedly that the story reported in this article is true. I don't know anyone except me who watched "Nirvanna the Band the Show" (yes, that's the spelling) compulsively, or at all.

Matt Johnson is quoted as saying, "It's hard to get people who have never seen 'Nirvanna the Band the Show' to understand what could be good about it." I have to admit that unless a viewer's brain is pre-wired to grok Johnson and McCarrol's brand of batshittery, there's going to be some amount of critical condescension or at least clueless head-scratching. However, those of us who loved the web series and the Viceland show will be the first in line to buy tickets to the film and stream the third season of the series--provided that both of those actually happen.
